Network devoted to athletics, training and a fit and active lifestyle, joins forces with long-established leader in youth sports industry

 

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 15, 2011)  The ATLX Channel, a subsidiary of MUSL TV, LLC, and the National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) have entered into a multifaceted partnership agreement that will allow each enterprise to benefit from the others’ related mission and extensive distribution channels, it was announced today.
The National Council of Youth Sports (www.ncys.org) is the go-to organization for services and resources in youth sports. Founded in 1979, the NCYS leads the amateur youth sports industry in promoting and enhancing the value of participation through advocacy and education. Its membership comprises the who’s who in the amateur youth sports industry, representing more than 185 organizations serving 60 million registered participants.
Some of the well-established organizations that retain membership in the NCYS include: Little League Baseball, Pop Warner football, Boy Scouts of America, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, YMCA of the USA and many others.
The goal of the NCYS is to preserve the integrity of organized youth sports while strengthening the performance of youth sports administrators. The NCYS reach is broad and deep into the grassroots of America’s heartland with a passion to create a better, more wholesome society in America. A new cable network launching in 2013, ATLX will become America’s first 24/7 lifestyle entertainment network fully devoted to all levels of training, fitness and competitive performance.
