Sarah McWilliams

Digital Content Producer

Sarah McWilliams brings to ATLX a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a focus in Creative Non-Fiction from The Ohio State University. She joined the ATLX Channel in March as a Digital Content Producer producing original content across a variety of platforms.

Before becoming part of the ATLX team, Sarah worked as a freelance writer for various publications in both sports and fitness writing, marketing communications, and technology. Sarah’s experience also includes working for The Ohio State University’s Sports Information Department where she wrote game updates, helped manage the press box at Ohio Stadium, wrote features on student-athletes and managed social media accounts. Sarah also worked concurrently for The Big Ten Network as a Gameday Liaison for Big Ten Productions.

Sarah has been immersed in the athletic culture as a runner and swimmer. She also was involved in athletics as a writing tutor for the Ohio State football and basketball teams for four years. The Ohio State Student-Athlete Support Service Office, where she was employed, has been featured in Sports Illustrated for its work providing academic services to the athletic department.

Sarah’s experience also includes a summer spent time in Knysna, South Africa where she taught English and writing at an underserved local high school.
